The hotel’s existing refill point struggled to meet demand in a high-footfall environment. Limited capacity, unreliable performance and hygiene concerns meant it no longer provided the experience the hotel wanted for its guests.
The customer needed a modern, durable solution that would make drinking water easier to access, encourage reusable bottles and improve the appearance of the space. They also wanted one contractor to manage the entire project, from product supply to building work and installation.
Following consultation and a site survey, we specified five Elkay EZH2O Liv Pro built-in filtered chilled water dispensers. Their in-wall design suited the lobby, while touch-free dispensing and integrated bottle counters supported convenient use and impact monitoring.
We produced drawings and worked closely with the hotel to design a new supporting wall that met both practical and aesthetic requirements. Our team coordinated the pipework, drainage and power provision before installing the units, delivering the project through a single point of contact. Service and maintenance formed part of the support provided.
Guests now have access to a more dependable refill setup designed to accommodate busy periods. The hotel reports faster dispensing, improved hygiene and easier maintenance compared with its previous installation.
A unit photograph dated 19 August recorded a counter reading of 31,348, demonstrating regular use of the new refill facilities. The counters also give the hotel a way to monitor usage as it encourages guests to choose reusable bottles.
The hotel is considering further installations in its lift lobbies, which could extend drinking-water access beyond the main reception area.
